Captain Harold Whiteoak

 

Harold completed the cadet program in the 1980's. He continued on as a CI in 1986 and joined the CIC in 1988. He made the rank of Captain in 1993 as the CO of 2302 (Weyburn Army Cadets). He transferred to Estevan in 2017.

As Administration Officer, he maintains all the personnel files and applications, as well as all the behind the scenes duties.

Harold has over 31 years experience as Firefighter.

CI Catherine Kroeker

 

Catherine completed the cadet program here in Estevan as a Master Warrant Officer in 2017. She complete 2 years as a staff cadet in Vernon, BC and an international tour of France and Belgium during the 100th anniversary of the PPCLI. Continuing with the cadet program as an instructor; she coaches the Biathlon Team, teaches sports lessons and maintains the QM Supply.

Our Past

​

Formed on December 1st, 1971 with 24 cadets as the 2901 "Estevan Elks" Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps by founder Paul King.

The pipes & drums band was created in September 1976 by Dr. Donald Burlinquette, Robert Rooks and Captain Fred Slater.

Our Present

​

Our cadet unit may be small, but we are growing; with over 30 cadets from south-eastern Saskatchewan. Although our unit meets in Estevan, we have cadets from all the small communities in our area: Lampman, Midale, Macoun, Bienfait, Benson, Stoughton, and Torquay.

Our Affiliated Unit

Each army cadet unit across Canada has an affiliated unit in the Canadian Armed Forced. Ours is the 1 PPCLI located at the Canadian Forces Base Edmonton, AB.

Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry is a proud, confident Regiment with outstanding leadership, strong discipline and highly developed military skills that enable it to fight and win on the battlefield of today and tomorrow. Our success and legacy are underpinned by operational excellence and a strong regimental family focused on supporting and maintaining cohesion among serving and retired members and their families.
